Bacho Kiro is the first cave that was provided with utilities for tourist visits. It was named nature landmark in 1962.
The cave is located close to the Dryanovo monastery. Another cave, Anduka, is also located nearby.
Four chambers form the cave. Their total length is 3600 m. Archeologists found there the remains of humans, as well as knives and artifacts made of bone.
Tourists can use two routes inside the cave. One of the walks lasts half an hour. The longer walk lasts 70 minutes.
Visitors can enter the cave year- round. During the summer, groups are taken inside from 8am to 7pm. During the winter, working time is limited to 10am to 4pm.
The routes and lightning inside the cave were renovated in 2002.
