Many places in Bulgaria offer opportunities for the practice of climbing. Some of the places where you can try it are Vitosha, Rila, the Rhodopes, Stara Planina, Sredna Gora. Good conditions are also available near the towns of Gabrovo, Vidin, Vratsa, Lovech, Kurdzhali, Pazardzhik, Plovdiv, Sliven, Sofia and Haskovo. Vertikalen Sviat (vertical world) club offers instruction and climbing in these regions.
