Emilian Stanev's Memorial House

Emilian Stanev’s museum house is situated in his native town of Veliko Turnovo. Stanev has long been known as one of Bulgaria’s greatest writers.

The house can be found on Samodivska Charshia Square, Nikola Zlatarski Street. Unfortunately, the original house was destroyed years ago but an exact replica was constructed for the purposes of the museum.

Stanev lived in the house from 1907 to 1922. Then his whole family moved to the town of Elena. The museum treasures something unique, the typewriter that Stanev used in the creation of his works. Other personal belongings and a family tree diagram are also kept there.
