The path will take you to the Eleno-Tvurdishki part of Stara Planina Mountain. It begins close to the village of Mikovtsi, nearly 12 km away from the town of Elena.
You will follow the path of Toplata River. The altitude in the region is 730 m.
Several other rivers will cross the path. During the summer, these offer chances for swimming. Fishing is also possible, since grey mullet and other types of fish populate the area. A number of meadows offer rest opportunities.
Though it is located in a mountain area, the path is accessible from the beginning of the spring until late autumn.
Miykovtsi offers accommodation opportunities. A ski track is located nearby. Several other routes will take you to cabins close to the village.
