Miykovtsi is a charming little village situated on the northern slopes of Stara Planina Mountain. The altitude of the location is 700 m. The village is about 12 km away from the beautiful mountain town of Elena, situated in the foot of Choumerna Peak. The peak can be reached after a four-hour walk.
The population of the village is only 70 people. They live in several neighborhoods that form the village.
Tourism options are diverse. Few kilometers away from the village, you can reach a ski track and a lift. An eco-path will let you follow the flow of Toplata River. Many rivers and creeks flow through the region and enable fishing and pleasant picnics in the shady meadows.
Biking, night-time tracking herb picking and walks to the various huts in the region are also possible.
Accommodation prices do not exceed greatly 10 leva. An entire house or villa can be rented for 100 leva per night.
