Only a quarter of the territory of Osogovo Mountain is situated inside Bulgaria. Its highest peak, Rouen happens to be located exactly in this region. The peak brags its 2251 meters of height and ranks fifth in Bulgaria after Mousala, Vihren, Botev and Cherni Vruh.
Rouen is one of the 100 national tourist sites. You can reach it walking from Trite Bouki or Osogovo huts. Both mountain walks last nearly three hours and a half.
The peak offers impressive view of both Rila and Pirin mountains.
