Strelcha started forming its first museum in the 40s of the 20th century.
Initially, the museum collection was placed in the community house. It moved to a specially constructed premise in 1958. This first museum exhibition was displayed in the house of Angel Nedelchev, a participant in the April Uprising.
Chorbadzhi Neshova house was renewed in the 90s. Since then, the town’s history museum has been placed there.
The museum has three sectors. Artifacts have been separated in collections named archaeology, Bulgaria from the 15th to the 19th century and art.
During the summer, visitors are welcome from 8.30 am to midday and from 1 pm to 5 pm.
The museum is closed on weekends during the winter. It is situated at 80 Bulgaria boulevard.
Strelcha’s tourism information center is situated in the yard of the museum complex. Visitors can learn more about local landmarks, hotels, restaurants and spa centers. More information is available at tic_strl2@abv.bg or using telephone 03532/2025.
