Sunny Beach is a well-known name. This is one of the most popular Bulgarian coastal resorts.
The history of the resort goes back to 1959, when it was created. Today the resort is much more developed.
Sunny Beach is located in the area between the town of Nessebar and St. Vlas and around 40 km north of the city of Bourgas.
Nearly 10 km long, Sunny Beach’s shoreline is as wide as 80 to 100m.
Several hundred luxurious hotels function in the resort. A number of villas and restaurants meet the needs of the tourists, as well.
The resort attracts mainly young people and foreign visitors. Nightlife options abound. Sunny Beach has developed to the extent that it nearly merges with the nearby St. Vlas and Nessebar.
Sunny Beach is the central spot around which the so called Bulgarian Riviera has been developed.
