Climbing is possible in the mountain areas near Vratsa, Lakatnik, Bozhenitsa, Veliko Turnovo, Lovech, Sliven, Karloukovo, Shoumen and Varna.
One of the interesting places, where you can try climbing is Choudnite Skali (the wonder rocks) near the city of Varna. The rock formation is situated on the shore of Tsonevo dam, 90 km southwest of the coastal city.
Eight climbing routes were created initially. Two more were added later on. The lengths vary from 17 to 35 m.
Divdyakovo is located near the town of Shoumen and offers good climbing conditions. The Shoumen Plateau offers many climbing routes and the ones in Divdyakovo total 15. The length varies between 14 and 22. Climbing is possible during any warm day, regardless of the season.
