Shkorpilovtsi village is situated only a kilometer away from the Black Sea shore. It carries the name of Skorpil brothers and was previously known as Fundukli. The word has Turkish origin and means hazelnut forest.
If you follow the Shkorpilovtsi beach, you will reach Cherni cape. This is the northernmost part of Stara Planina Mountain that reaches the Black Sea shore.
The place is still relatively peaceful and offers opportunities for a tranquil vacation near the sea.
Forests near Shkorpilovtsi offer excellent camping conditions. The beach is clean and well maintained. You will reach it after a short walk.
If you dislike camping and decide to spend more than a day in the village, you can choose among its small hotels and villas. Shkorpilovtsi lacks major luxury hotels and restaurants but is an excellent option for a calm relaxation away from the noise of big resorts.
