Cherni Vruh is Vitosha Mountain’s highest point, impressive with its 2290 m. The peak has been included among the 100 national tourist sites.
To reach the peak, you can use one of the following routes. Option A includes walking from Zlatnite Mostove to Koumata cabin. From there, you start the actual climb to the peak. The entire hike lasts three hours and a half.
Option B involves a longer hike, starting from the village of Yarlovo, through Siva Gramada peak. The walk lasts nearly five hours.
Naturally, other options are available if the ones already mentioned failed inspiring you to pack your bags and start climbing. Cherni Vruh is accessible from Aleko (an hour and a half of walking) Tintiava hut (three hours and a half), Edelweiss hut (two hours and half) and Chouipetlovo village (four hours and a half). Research the paths in advance since marks are sometimes missing and you can get confused.
