One of the oldest cities in Europe is named Plovdiv. Historians believe that its age is similar to that of Troy and Plovdiv is older than Athens and Rome. Stara Planina is a European Mountain chain located on the Balkan peninsula. It stretches from eastern Serbia to the Black Sea coast. Most of the mountain is located on the territory of Bulgaria.
