During a European cultural forum taking place in Brussels from May 26 to 30, the coastal city of Bourgas was presented as Bulgaria's summer festivals capital.
Bourgas mayor Dimitur Nikolov said that the city offers numerous tourism and business opportunities and is proud of its ancient history and culture. During the summer, Bourgas will witness many cultural events and will be one of the most dynamic European cities, Nikolov said.
Member of European Parliament Marousia Lyubcheva organized the cultural forum. The aim of the summit is to popularize the Bulgarian Black Sea coast and the country's culture among Europeans.
