National parks Rila, Pirin and Central Balkan presented Bulgaria as eco tourism destination during a Paris tourism fair, money.bg reported.
Bulgaria took part in the expo as an honorary participant. Environment and Water Affairs Ministry, the state forestry agency and the State Agency for Tourism (SAT) presented the country.
Apart from information on the three national parks, Bulgaria presented the opportunities for eco tourism in the country's 11 nature parks. A French-language catalog and movies tell visitors more about Bulgaria.
Visitors can also take a look at specific items that symbolize each of the parks. Among the exhibited items are edelweiss from Pirin Mountain, honey, herbs, blueberry jam from Stara Planina Mountain and rose oil.
