Varna will host the first of its kind honey tasting on August 14, Darik Radio reported. Until August 20, residents and visitors of the coastal city will get the chance to try various types of honey produced in the country. Tasting will take place from 10 am to 8 pm in the garden behind the opera house.
Honey productions organizations and Varna municipality planned the event. Varna mayor Kiril Yordanov will attend the opening ceremony.
Apart from the tasting, the event includes competitions and award giving. Visitors will also explore the manner in which honey is produced in Bulgaria.
