Increasing number of Czech tourists to visit Bulgaria's Tsarevo
Tsarevo launched officially summer season 2008 on June 16, Darik Radio reported. To mark the new season, Tsarevo got a new open-air museum. The first Bulgarian wooden ship, Gorianin, has been constructed once again and placed in the central part of town.

The ship was constructed in 1947 and originally carried timber. It was later used as a training vessel of the Varna military marine school.

Mayor Petur Arnaoudov said that the season is expected to be successful. Higher number of Czech and Russian tourists are expected because of the better conditions and the cooperation with a Czech tourism agency.

Wealthier tourists will prefer the resort of Lozen, Arnaoudov said. The ratio Bulgarian to foreign tourists is estimated at 1:3. Tsarevo will do its best to avoid the construction of major complexes and hotels, he said.
