The march from Kozloduy to Okolchitsa peak, following the step of Bulgarian revolutionary Hristo Botev, will gather many participants this year.
More than 800 people have signed in. Some of the tourists come from Romania and the UK, Vratsa's deputy tourism mayor Toni Mileva told Darik Radio.
Finance Ministry will provide nearly 200 000 leva for the march. All municipalities in the region will benefit from the financial aid.
Currently the path is undergoing renovations. Conditions are made better at all locations where march participants will rest and spend the night.
