An Italian producer of luxurious yachts sold three vessels during a demonstration in the resort of Sunny Beach, Monitor daily reported. The value of the deals is five million euro.
The fast purchase surprised the producers. The company planned to sell six to seven yachts in Bulgaria throughout the year.
Yachts sold have varying prices and capacity. The most expensive one is worth 2.8 million euro and is already under the ownership of a construction entrepreneur from Sofia. The other deals cost 1.8 million and 500 000 euro respectively.
Luxurious yachts create significant expenses, nearly 70 percent of which go for fuel. Apart from fuel, owners have to pay for qualified staff that has to undergo training with the production company. All of the new owners seemed to be comfortable with the high expenses, despite the growing fuel costs.
