Nearly 60 000 Bulgarian tourists are expected to visit Turkish resorts this year, Dnes + reported.
The majority of tourists travel from June to the end of September. Antalya attracts visitors with its all inclusive packages.
Representatives of Turkish tourism agencies said that the major problems that the sector experiences are the lack of alternative forms of tourism outside the summer season and the underqualification of staff.
Most tourists prefer Turkey as a traditional seaside tourism destination. The country is only beginning to make use of its spa and golf tourism potential.
