Starting July 25, Bulgarian beaches that have received a Blue Flag award, will undergo inspections, Dnevnik daily reported. Representatives of the international organization will be responsible for the inspection, together with a Blue Flag representative from Bulgaria.
The inspections will target beaches that received the award in 2008. They include beaches in Sozopol, Dyuni, Sunny Beach, Pomorie, St. Vlas, Albena, Slunchev Den, Riviera and Marina Dinevi yacht harbor.
Experts will examine air purity, water and sand cleanness, safety, comfort level for visitors and the availability of medical aid.
