Bansko mayor Alexander Kravarov planned a summer theater festival in yet another attempt to turn Bansko into year-round resort. From July 1 to 7, residents of the resort and visitors will get the chance to see the best plays this season.
Kravarov said that the festival could turn into an annual event. In this manner, Bansko will be seen both as a ski resort and a theater town.
Plays by Marius Kourkinski, Kamen Donev and Tedi Moskov will be staged. Some of the well-known actors to take part in the fest include Maya Novoselska, Toncho Tokmakchiev, Pavel Popandov and Hristo Gurbov.
