The access of visitors to Devetashka cave will be restricted during the months of June and July, news.bg reported.
Restrictions will be imposed because of the reproductive season of the several types of bats inhabiting the cave.
Devetashka cave is known as the home of various endangered species. It is also one of the natural phenomena in its region.
In 1996, the cave was named a nature landmark and protected territory. It is expected to become part of the European environmental network Natura 2000.
