EU provided 315 euro from two operative programs for the development of Bulgarian tourism, State Agency for Tourism (SAT) said as quoted by Sega daily.
The regional development program provided 218 million euro. Most of the funds are to be used for sustainable tourism development.
A third of the overall sum came from the rural regions development program.
Additional funds could be provided from other programs like human resources, competitiveness and administrative capacity. The exact amount is still unclear.
