Bulgaria's tourism sphere is to experience lack of employees, Sega daily reported quoting the Varna labor bureau. Nearly 400 workplaces in the Varna region are still vacant and their number is to grow with the approach of the summer season.
The most wanted employees include waiters, chamber maids, cooks and staff. According to experts, low payment in the sector caused the problem.
New hotels will open doors soon, many are situated outside major summer resorts. This development will aggravate further the labor force problem since most of the employers are unwilling to cover travel expenses for their workers.
