								One of the most preferred eco and rural tourism destinations in Bulgaria is situated 25 km away from the town of Troyan and 200 km away from Sofia.

Apriltsi is a town situated in a beautiful valley that is surrounded by Stara Planina Mountain from all sides. The town offers breathtaking view of Severen Dzhendem preserve and of Botev peak.

The first settlers in the region escaped from Turnovo upon the Ottoman conquest. In 1976, four villages situated there were named Apriltsi and were given the status of a town.

Numerous small hotels function in Apriltsi alongside caf&amp;eacute;s and restaurant. The resort town has several swimming pools, a horseback riding ground, as well as biking and tennis facilities. Rivers in the region offer fishing and sunbathing conditions.
